what are your hours of operation?
Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (Arizona timezone)  Fridays 7:30-12:30 pm.  All appointments are virtual!
Feel free to call and leave a message after hours.  I will return your call as soon as possible the following day.
Emails received after hours will be answered the following day.​
WHO might benefit from working with food not pharmacy?
​Anyone who wants or needs:
1)  weight management (weight loss)
2)  chronic disease medical nutrition therapy (including but not limited to type II diabetes, chronic kidney disease. high blood pressure, cardiac heart failure, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), cancer, metabolic syndrome) with or without the weight management component

do you accept insurance?
No.  Most of the services I offer are typically not covered by insurance.   However, I can send a superbill to you that you may be able to submit to your health insurance company for all or partial reimbursement.  Check with your insurance company for details and specifics.
what forms of payment do you accept?  will i incur any charges other than for a package or session?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal are accepted.
Nutrigenomix tests must be paid in full to prior to testing. Fees will be determined and discussed with you in advance.  
​PLEASE NOTE:  I require a credit card number to be kept on file during the duration of the time we work together.  Deposits are required prior to beginning work or ordering tests for you *see home page*
If you schedule a session with me and don't show up for our phone or telehealth session, your card will automatically be charged a $125 no show fee.  If you need to reschedule a session, please let me know 24 hours in advance.  Your card will be charged an $85 reschedule fee for reschedule requests received less than 24 hours in advance. 




how long does it take to receive my customized nutrition plan?
After receipt of deposit and all necessary forms, you should receive your plan within 5-10 business days.  NOTE:  Receipt of your plan may be delayed if you have opted for genetic testing. Test results and nutritional recommendations will be added to your plan before it is considered to be complete.
