About Me and Food Not Pharmacy
Why choose me to help you achieve your weight loss goals? Because I've been there. I weighed over 420 pounds, had type II diabetes and was not living my best life. I hated having to take prescription medications. I hated the stares and the insults and my inability to make lasting changes in my diet. I felt as though I was a second class citizen. I hated my life.
When the economy took a nosedive in the early 2000's, that forced me to make a career change and I became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
I have eight years of education, training, research, professional and personal experience that I use every day to help my clients achieve their goals. I love research and spend hours reading the latest advances in nutrition, genetics and the psychology of weight loss and maintenance.

I work with a limited number of clients at any one time in order to give the best possible service to each one.
